Fat Guys

Privacy Policy

Version 2026-10-08-v1 · Ontario, Canada

We collect as little about you as the programme can run on, we don't sell any of it, and you can have it back or have it deleted by sending one email.

Who we are

Fat Guys Wellness Community, operating in Ontario, Canada. Payments are processed by DMAN Lifestyle Management Inc.

Any privacy question, access request or deletion request: daryl@dmanlifestyle.com

What we collect

When you join

Your agreement record

When you tick the box at checkout we store what you agreed to and when: the name you typed, the date and time, the version of the agreement shown to you, a fingerprint of that exact wording, whether you scrolled through it, and your IP address and browser.

That last part exists to protect you as much as us. If there is ever a dispute about what you signed up to, this is the record that answers it — and without the version and fingerprint, nobody could prove the terms hadn't been changed after the fact.

If you use the enquiry form

Your name, email, phone, and whatever you write in "where you're at now, and what you want back". People often mention injuries, medications, bloodwork or a doctor's advice there. You don't have to. Write as much or as little as you like — anything you do share is treated as health information under the section below.

Health information

If you tell a coach about an injury, a condition, a medication or anything your doctor has said, we keep it only so we don't give you unsafe advice. It is not used for anything else, it is never shared outside the coaching team, and you can ask us to delete it at any time without leaving the programme.

Payment details

We never see your card number. Payment is handled entirely on Stripe's own page. We receive confirmation that you paid, the amount, and the last four digits — nothing else.

What we do with it

PurposeWhat we use
Give you access and know your membership is currentname, email, membership, dates
Add you to the WhatsApp groupmobile number
Coach you safelyanything you've told us about your health
Send your receipt, agreement and renewal warningemail
Take payment and handle refundshandled by Stripe
Prove what you agreed to, if ever disputedthe agreement record

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, use it to train anything, or send you marketing from anyone else.

The WhatsApp group — read this before you join The community runs on WhatsApp. When we add you, your phone number becomes visible to every other member of that group, and your messages are visible to them too. That is how a group chat works and we can't change it. WhatsApp is owned by Meta and has its own privacy terms, which we don't control.

If you'd rather not be in it, tell us — you can do the programme without the group, and we'll keep you updated by email instead.

The database sits in Canada, deliberately. Email, payments and the group chat run through US providers, which means some of your information crosses the border and can be subject to US law. You have a right to know that, so it's here rather than in a footnote.

How long we keep it

On that last one: if there were ever a claim about an injury, the record of what you were told about the risks and what you agreed to is the thing both sides would need. Deleting it would leave you without it too. So we keep that one record — the agreement, not your health notes or your messages — well beyond your membership.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

Email daryl@dmanlifestyle.com. We reply within 30 days, which is what PIPEDA requires. There's no charge.

If you're not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

If something goes wrong

If your information is lost or exposed in a way that creates a real risk of significant harm, we will tell you and the Privacy Commissioner, promptly and in plain language — what happened, what it means for you, and what we're doing. That is a legal obligation under PIPEDA, not a courtesy.

Cookies

This website sets no tracking cookies and runs no analytics. There's nothing to opt out of. Stripe's payment page sets its own cookies to process your payment and prevent fraud; that's covered by Stripe's privacy policy.

Children

Fat Guys is for men over 40. It isn't for anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect anything about them.

Changes

If we change this in a way that matters, we email members — we don't just quietly update the page.
